Joie Play Yard
The new Joie Play Yard at the UW Credit Union Plaza is now open at American Family Field, home of the Milwaukee Brewers, and Midwest Playscapes is proud to have partnered with the Milwaukee Brewers, CGSchmidt, Earthscape Play, Cre8Play, No Fault Surfaces, R.A. Smith, and The Kubala Washatko Architects to bring this one-of-a-kind destination to life.
Designed to welcome fans of all ages, the Joie Play Yard combines imaginative, custom-built play with durable, fully accessible construction to create a space where kids can explore, play, and connect before every home game.
Inspired by Wisconsin's agricultural heritage, the playground features a custom Earthscape Play structure alongside custom Cre8Play elements, all set on vibrant poured-in-place safety surfacing from No Fault Surfaces. The surfacing was finished in custom lime green and brown EPDM colors selected specifically for the project, adding a playful, unmistakably Brewers touch to the space. Every detail was chosen to support active play while creating a welcoming, accessible environment the whole family can enjoy.
Projects like the Joie Play Yard show what's possible when organizations, architects, contractors, and playground specialists come together around a shared vision. Midwest Playscapes is honored to help bring destination-level play spaces to life, even on a stage as unique as a Major League ballpark.
